Hi! I’m Brandi.

In 2021, I hit a new rock bottom with my mental and physical health.

I had been battling depression, anxiety, ADHD, and PMDD for years. Medications were no longer enough— in fact, I felt they were only making things worse.

I had severe brain fog and memory issues. Not remembering where I parked my car was a reoccurring problem, and I just couldn’t think straight to save my life.

Despite calorie counting, portion control, exercise, and constant dieting, my daughter and I were both overweight and we both developed food intolerances over the years.

I was dealing with nausea and abdominal pains on a daily basis, along with inconsistent and undesirable bowel movements.

On top of all that, my hair was thinning above my forehead, falling out by the clumps, and not growing. My nails were brittle, and I had acne like a teenager.

The worst part, all this happened while following my doctor’s health recommendations and the best nutrition advice there was out there.

For many years my daughter and I were on a low-fat, high-plant food, mostly lean meat, whole food, gluten-free, paleo diet, and we barely ate junk food. We exercised regularly, plus living in the city we walked almost 10,000 steps a day. I drank 64 oz of water a day. I had been doing my best to manage stress and get 8 hours of sleep every night. I significantly reduced my alcohol intake. I thought I was doing everything right.

Those who have been following me on social media over the years will recall my colorful fruit and veggie-filled plates, my workout videos, and my health-inspired posts. I have always wanted to be an example of good health—yet there I was, lost, confused, miserable, and unhealthier than ever.

I just knew there had to be more to the mainstream narrative on health and nutrition.

At just the right time, God placed just the right person in my path. Someone who had also experienced disappointment with conventional wisdom. Their story resonated with me, igniting a spark of curiosity and determination to seek out alternative approaches.

With a new direction and some hopeful resources, I decided to become my very own experiment and embark on a health and healing journey unlike ever before.

I’ve discovered there's so much more to health and nutrition than the media and Western medicine portray.

By ditching the mainstream narrative about nutrition and learning what it means to truly fuel my body, I’ve experienced a massive change in both my physical and mental health.

I’m no longer experiencing PMDD or brain fog. I’m completely off all my depression, anxiety, and ADHD medications and I feel more mentally stable than ever before. I’m also more energized, vibrant, and more in tune with my body.

Now, I want to share these secrets with you.

Within these virtual walls, you will discover an environment that embraces open-mindedness and encourages the exploration of what it truly means to heal, fuel ourselves, and feel good.

a little more about me.

I’ve always believed that just like a car, our bodies need the right fuel to function properly, thrive, and allow us to be our best selves. Food is fuel.

I’m extremely passionate about nutrition, health, helping others, and leading by example. I’m also passionate about being a great mom, a great friend, a great girlfriend—a great human.

I enjoy cooking, traveling, the beach, snowboarding, boxing, snorkeling, music, and spending time with my loved ones.

Currently living in Chicago. Born and raised in Pittsburgh. Plotting my move to the coast of southern California.

I make a living as a user experience designer. I’ve been designing websites and visual content for over a decade. UX combines my creative skills, my empathetic nature, and my fascination with psychology. I couldn't be happier with my career path, but I’m looking into becoming a certified health coach as an additional path because it pains me to see so many people struggling with health conditions that are largely avoidable. I want to be part of a larger movement and educate people about the power of nutrition.

Honesty, integrity, and empathy hold immense significance in both my personal and professional life. I always strive to do what is right and be honest.

You don't have to be a prisoner in your own body.

Follow me on this health journey, let's unlock the secrets to living a vibrant, healthy life. We can navigate the challenges, celebrate the milestones, and create a supportive community where we can uplift and inspire one another.
